The School Band is a group of student musicians who rehearse and perform instrumental music together. It consists of woodwind instruments, brass instruments, and percussion instruments, although upper-level bands may also have string basses or bass guitar.

The Band gives outstanding performances every year on the occasions of Annual Sports Day during the March Past and during ‘Prabhat Pheri’ on Mahavir Jayanti.

The concert band is usually under the direction of one or more conductors (band directors).
