Scout
Scouting is a form of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities. Formed on 7th August 1964, it is a program designed to instill character, citizenship, personal fitness and leadership in boys.
Some common ways to implement these are by spending time together in small groups with shared experiences, rituals, and activities, as well as laying stress on good citizenship and decision-making that are age-level appropriate.
The boys become self-reliant and face challenges of life confidently with the mottos ‘Be Prepared’ and ‘Service to Others’. To achieve all these, regular training sessions are conducted both in the primary as well as in the secondary sections.
ACHIEVEMENTS
2019
- Organized a Candle March on 18th February to pay tribute to our soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our country in the Pulwama Attack.
- Attained Championship in the District level Competition. Rohit Kr. Sharma, Gourav Pandey, Vikash Singh, Ayush Singh, Amarnath Singh, Aryan Singh, Ankit Singh, and Priyanshu Kr. Thakur was the 1st Rank holders.
2018
- Won the prestigious Governor Award. Bikash Pandey and Ashutosh Mandal were the proud awards.
- Held the Runners-up Trophy in the District level Competition. Participants included Ashutosh Mandal, Yash Kr. Singh, Rohan Roy, Bikash Pandey, Gourav Pandey, Bikash Singh, Neeraj Sharma, and Rohit Kr. Sharma.
2017
- Avinash Singh won the Governor Award.
- Nikhil Dubey, Yogesh Sharma, Ashish Kr. Singh and Aman Jaiswal were selected for the President Award Exam. Their results are still awaited.
- Tarak Routh, Nikhil Dubey, Yogesh Sharma, Shivam Jha, Abhishek Kr. Jha, Ashish Kr. Singh, Himanshu Singh and Satyam Shukle participated and won the Runners-up Trophy in the District level Competition.
2016
- Boys of our Scouts team won the Disaster Management Award. The awards were Akash Singh Khushwah and Swapnil Upadhya.
- Stood 1st in the District level Competition. The champions were Wahid Reza, Nikhil Dubey, Yogesh Sharma, Abhishek Kr. Jha, Satyam Shukla, Ashish Kr. Singh, Himanshu Singh, and Abhinash Singh.
- The Governor Award was won by Abhishek Kr. Jha, Shivam Jha, Aman Jaiswal, Tarak Routh, Pratik Kumar, Suyash Goswami, Shiv Shankar Rai, Anuj Kr. Rai and Ganesh Upadhya.
2015
- Held the 1st position in the District level Competition. Participants included Abhishek Kr. Jha, Ashish Kr. Singh, Wahid Reza, Abhinash Patra, Himanshu Singh, and Satyam Shukla.
- The Governor Award was achieved by Wahid Reza, Nikhil Dubey, Yogesh Sharma, Satyam Shukla, Ashish Kr. Singh, Himanshu Singh, and Abhinash Patra.
2014
- The revered President Award was won by Akash Singh Khushwah, Sushil Chand Prasad and Swapnil Upadhya.
- Bikash Pandey stood 1st in the District level Drawing Competition.
- Shivam Jha and Nikhil Dubey attained 1st and 2nd positions respectively in the District level Essay Competition.
2013
- The esteemed Governor Award was achieved by three of our boy scouts- Akash Singh Khushwah, Sushil Chand Prasad and Swapnil Upadhya.
